Server Environment

Minimum requirements for DocFusion's ecosystem are calculated based on an individual enterprise's document automation needs. Typically, this is based on the volume of document output required, its frequency, and how DocFusion will be accessed from other enterprise systems.

Once requirements have been assessed, our technical team will furnish requirements for major architectural components like:

  • Document generation servers
  • Virtual Machines
  • HTTP request brokers 
  • Output servers
  • and system health.

Several software pre-requisites from software vendors are also installed on server hardware. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Microsoft .Net Framework 4.8 or higher
  • Visual Studio Runtimes

Workstations

Hardware Requirements

DocFusion's Template Designer, Workbench and Workflow Designer tools are user applications that are installed on workstations. They must meet these minimum requirements:

  • 1.5 GHz processor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 4 GB Hard-disk space

Software Requirements

Currently, tools in the DocFusion suite of software only supports the Windows operating system. 


You can verify the hardware and software requirements of workstations using the System Information tool in Windows.

Software Pre-Requisites & Dependent libraries

Software pre-requisites must be met to use DocFusion tools on workstations. Supporting libraries and software enable the DocFusion Template Designer, Workbench and Workflow Designer tools.

Pre-requisite software includes:

  • Microsoft .Net Framework 4.8 or higher
  • Visual Studio Runtimes
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Microsoft Word 2013 or higher
